When considering prospective members, we look for well-rounded women who are motivated and committed to serve. We look for dynamic women who are scholarly, have an excellent reputation, and possess talent and sophistication. We look for ladies who will maintain the personal and professional ideals upon which our sisterhood was founded.

Just as importantly, we look for women who are eager to learn and have proven that they will make positive contributions to the chapter and to the sorority as a whole.

Interested women must:

Have an official baccalaureate transcript that indicates a degree obtained from an accredited four-year college or university
Be active in your community
Demonstrate intent to live up to the principles of Zeta
Be scholarly, hardworking, creative and a team-worker

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Iota Delta Zeta Chapter invites women interested in membership to attend our Spring 2026 Membership Informational.

This informational is an opportunity to learn more about the history, values, service, and sisterhood of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, as well as the expectations and requirements of membership at the graduate level. Attendees will hear directly from members of the Iota Delta Zeta Chapter and gain insight into our work in the Hayward and greater East Bay community.
